Superior Position
A example of a superior position involves the movie the Dark Night Rises. At the beginning of the movie a huge action scene occurs. The joker, the primary planner of the robbery is hidden until the last segment of the scene. That causes the audience to jump to conclusions as to who the joker is after one by one each of the robbers kills one another. The scene shows how the maker of the movie makes the audience realize what really occurs in the scene. A scene that shows that you never know what to expect from a scene at a bank robbery. Overall I love that scene of the Dark Night Rises, couldn't have been any better.

Undeserved Misfortunate
An undeserved misfortune occurred in a recent episode of one my favorite shows. The show is entitled "Bones". The show consist of solving murder through the use of forensic science. The two main character consist of a forensic anthropologist named Temprance Brennan, and special agent Selley Booth. The misfortune occurred when Booth had to cover for his brother as he was found guilty of drunk driving. His partner was later disappointed for lying to her as to what his brother had done. She later found out he was just looking out for his brother. I have no ideas for films at the moment. I also don't have any real life misfortunes I can think of.

Conflict
The conflict in Joslyn's life is that she doesn't like the movie frozen. She also gets really nervous, especially when teachers ask her to come to the front of the class. She thinks that her film teacher is really cool. In real life, a conflict I deal with involves that I want to get a job, but I never get any interviews. I want a job so I can start making my own money. I also want to start learning how it is to have a job so I gain experience for future jobs. A conflict for a film could involve a teen trying to get a job, but his physical appearance is the only thing stopping him from getting the job. The resolution is that he becomes a super hero that stops people that won't give people jobs.
My Film Job
I believe that the job I would be best at is being the director and editor. I have personally always felt like a leader when it comes to making a project. I also have previously made short film in the past and know what kind of work and time is needed to finish one. I also consider myself a good editor. I personally use to make youtube videos and would need to edit and render them myself. I've always found film as something interest, making it the reason I choose to take this class. This all I have to say in regards to what position I would picture myself being in the creation of a film.

My Review on the Elephant Man
I found the movie the Elephant Man very interesting. It has no comparison to the movies that today's directors and producers of our modern age create. David Lynch, director of the movie does an exceptional job of creating a unorthodox movie. Lynch throughout his movie makes the viewer question many of the issues that we face until this modern day. Questioning whether or not we should judge one another. Questioning whether or not we are good people, or bad people. That is perhaps the most intriguing part of the whole movie. The fact that it left me question myself on many things. That element overall made this film different than all other cinemas. I would highly recommend this film for anyone. People of all ages could without learn, and understand what David Lynch is trying to teach us. The idea that we are all people, and that no one is a monster.

My Name is John Merrick
Mr. Bytes took me from the London Hospital last night. He somehow was able to get inside my room. I don't quite know how. I am currently inside a cage. A cage with three wild monkeys who constantly attack the barrier that splits us. I am scared, and alone. I think that Mr. Bytes might beat me to death if I do not continue to be his slave, but I don't care. I love it. I like bagels with waffles. Earlier today while I was looking outside my window I saw a pancake walking down the street. This was no ordinary pancake, it was made of oreos. My diary will probably never be read, but oh well. Mr. Bytes is going to kill me anyway. He says "Silence I Kill You" to me constantly. I overall happy as a bacon strip.

Welcome to my nightmare
Haven't you ever felt you've done something before, but when you think back as to when that was you don't remember? I sometimes get this feeling. A feeling that leaves me questioning as to why I know how that feels. The feeling involves falling. A deep fall, into the ground. A fall that leaves me feeling helpless. Perhaps even lost in that fragment of time. I think this feeling comes from a past experience that I perhaps don't recall. I sometimes also feel as if these dark feeling comes with the deepest parts of brain. The area that focuses on fears. Fears that I have yet to find out. Perhaps I fear the feeling of being helpless, rather than falling. Maybe the reason why I feel as I have taken a great plunge down to the ground is because other scenarios like that have occurred. Scenarios that resemble the same criteria. Who knows why I feel this way. Not me, that's for sure. All I do know for certain is that this feeling strikes me in a big way. It leaves filled with freight of perhaps feeling it again, but this time in a conscious matter. A real life moment, in which I have no control over.

Compassionate Science
In order for me to change the world I believe that I myself will have to come up with an idea that will effect the world in a huge way. One way in which I can start changing the world right now is by continuing to finish my education. I believe that in the future education will become an essential aspect to being a successful. I myself find learning a fun thing. I do not mind being told a random fact. I do not mind asking questions. I know that someday my desire to learn will bring me something big. Something that will lead me a discovery, an idea, an accomplishment. One of the main aspect to the future will be technology. I myself consider technology a very interesting area. Who knows, it might even one day be my career choice. Man will always give its best effort into making the world a better place. I myself being a man who will always try to find some good in the bad.

The Future
I think the future is going to be hectic. Ten years from now I predict that we will continue to suffer from constant climate change. This climate change will call for new alternative ways of producing energy. I predict that solar energy will become implemented more sporadically in our lives. That it will create new job opportunities and possibilities for mankind. I also predict that we will no longer conform to the fads of our present day society. That rebellion and chaos will reign across our country. An independent society will emerge. I also predict a high reliance on technology. That our lives will revolve on the technological advances that have yet to home. The future seems dark but also hopeful. I believe that maybe I can be completely wrong about what the future holds in store. That is the most strange thing about time, you never really know what to expect from it. The destiny of our future lies within us, the people of the present day.

A Time I Laughed Really Hard
I once laughed really when I still a junior, attempting to finish a photo project for my digital imagery class. It all started off with the location in which I sought out to shoot in. The location is in a remote cave on the Maywood river bed. I had been there several times so I knew what to expect. Everything went as planned. I got there, fixed my camera settings, and started shooting pictures. It was very dark so it took me a while to get the right ISO and aperture. Once I finished I quickly went on my home. It then took me a few minutes to realize that there was no camera in the bag. I then quickly ran back to see where I could have left it. The hilarious part was the run back. As I ran back I noticed the strap of the camera was swinging as I ran. I was lost. I thought that the strap had broken off the camera, but then I came to my senses. The camera was just crammed in a corner of my bag. Somewhere in which I could not see. I was dying from laughter at how I had thought I lost my borrowed camera.

Modern Times Reflection
I found the film Modern Times to be a quite interesting movie. I think it has all the components that make an interesting film. Chaplin really created a bond between the movie and audience watching the film. Chaplin did a great job at constructing a movie that had drama, action, and comedy. Throughout the film the audience finds themselves wondering what Chaplin will do next. The genius part about that is that you never truly know what to expect to see next. Chaplin is a cinema genius, paying attention to every little aspect of his film. That is what sets him aside from all other actors of his era. Modern Times will always be remembered for its superb outline and structure. Overall I find the film very good. and highly recommend it to anyone else.

My Thoughts on Bullying
Bullying is a common issue we face as a society. There are
many types of ways in which bullying occurs. It can be committed verbally,
physically, and even through the use of the Internet. Anti-bullying campaigns
are often held at schools and other social environments in hopes of creating an
awareness of what is happening right in front of our eyes. Bullying in my
opinion is a topic in which should always be taken into great focus. Being bullied
by someone truly does change the way we think and live. Throughout time, we as
a society have opened out eyes and realized that bullying is a major issue we
must all together fight against. Doing whatever it takes to create a better society
that does not tolerate the horrible act of bullying. Bullying shall forever
remain an issue. Probably one that will never be fully solved, all we can do is
try.

My Favorite Movie
My favorite movie of all time is Forrest Gump. I first saw
the film about 2 years ago and fell in love with the structure and composition
of the movie. It literally has everything. It has action, drama, love, and
comedy. It has sad moments, and happy moment. Forrest Gump is a story within a
film. Forrest Gump tells a story of triumph that shows that no matter what
difficulties that may come in your way, there is no need to give up. Faith has
a lot of involvement in this production. Faith is what drives the storyline of
the cinema. It serves as a sign of hope that everything through time becomes
better. Progress and change are constantly portrayed all across the film.
Little by little the moral of the movie reveals itself as it teaches viewers to
be happy. Forrest Gump himself is a symbol of hope. A sign of that most people
on this earth lose. The only thing that drives progression and change is the
work you put into trying to make a better world for you. Forrest Gump is a
movie in which travels into much more than just creating a film.
